We specialise in industrial roof spraying and cut-edge corrosion treatment for metal roofs.
Over time, the exposed edges of metal roof sheets (called cut edges) start to rust. This happens because the protective coating applied in the factory doesn’t fully seal the edges once the sheets are cut and installed. If left untreated, this corrosion spreads, weakens the roof panels, and eventually leads to leaks and costly replacements.
Our process involves:
Thoroughly cleaning and preparing the roof
Treating and sealing corroded cut edges
Spray-applying a protective coating across the roof
This seals the roof, stops corrosion from spreading, improves weather resistance, and extends the life of the roof by many years (maximum guarantee 25 Years) at a fraction of the cost of a full replacement.
This is a typical example of cut edge corrosion. Often not visible from the ground, however this is why Drone Surveys are such a good idea. They save the cost of scaffolding and give you a very good idea of the condition which allows us to recommend a suitable solution.
